» ARCHITECTURE

The Clima Cityhotel was built by the famous Tyrolian architect Ernst Hiesmayr (1945 – 2006) in 1956. His designing the so-called Juridicum (part of the university of Vienna) made him popular in the world of art and culture. Ernst Hiesmayr’s works of art can be found in public and residential buildings but also as far as city planning is concerned.

His style was determined by his longing for harmony between art and technology. The design of a building equally meant to him ‚a search for the truth’ as he stated in his publication „Analytic Buidlings „ (1999)

Ernst Hiesmayr received numerous national and international awards.
